Jing Ren
Assistant professor, University of Montreal
I am currently an assistant professor at the Université de Montréal, Canada.
Previously, I was a senior researcher in the Interactive Geometry Lab at ETH Zurich, advised by Prof. Olga Sorkine-Hornung.
I obtained my Ph.D. from the Visual Computing Center at KAUST, advised by Prof. Peter Wonka and Prof. Maks Ovsjanikov, an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford, and a B.Sc. from Zhejiang University.
My research focuses on shape analysis, geometry processing, and digital fabrication, with broader interests in computer graphics and computer vision.
I feel fortunate to have received the Eurographics Young Researcher Award 2026.
